Millet Upma

Millet Upma (10–15 minutes)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup millet
  • 2 cups water
  • Onion, green chilli
  • Vegetables (carrot, beans, peas)
  • Mustard seeds, curry leaves
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp oil

Method

  1. Wash and soak millet for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Heat oil, add mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  3. Add onions, chilli, and vegetables.
  4. Add water and salt → bring to boil.
  5. Add millet, cook 10 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.

Healthy breakfast or dinner option.
